Dunya is in the process of establishing the Center of Afghanistan Research (CAR) in partnership with the University of Management, Economics and Finance (UMEF) in Geneva, Switzerland. The CAR at Dunya provides active support for research in all fields of study by its fellows and disseminates their work to the world's academic and professional communities. The CAR is made up of prominent scholars inside and outside Dunya who work on key empirical and theoretical problems in each field of study at Dunya. It provides a physical locus for their activities, consistent with the belief that research is by its nature a collaborative venture.
In this regard, the CAR offers data, technology and staff support for empirical research and underwrites academic conferences that bring together distinguished researchers to collaborate in exchanging and developing ideas. In addition, the CAR provides research support and funding for visiting fellows and travel support for doctoral student fellows.
