DIHE has a large green sward for students to enjoy their recreation periods and interact. It is located in a secure and beautiful environment surrounded with flowers and lawns and is one of the best-kept compounds in town, conveniently located about 20 minutes from Kabul International Airport. The campus is made up of four separate buildings which are well signposted to assist students in finding their way around with ease.:

Block A: Administration

This is the main block in which all the academic and administrative activities are located. It consists of the reception area, the Student Affairs’ Department, the Department of Human Resources and the Finance Section (Student Support, Student Scholarships, Problem Solving, Employment Opportunities), the General Services’ Department, Logistics, the Deputy Administrator, Archives, Design, ICT, the Academic Affairs’ Department and the Managing Director’s Office. An additional facility of a Mosque for prayers radiates blessings on the university and the students.

Block B: Academic

All classes, both day and evening, are held here.

Block C: Hostel and Accommodation

The DIHE offers full hostel facilities and services for overnight, short- and long-term stays for a limited number of students. It is housed in block C which is fully dedicated to accommodation. This building comprises 13 well-equipped rooms, with accommodation for approximately 60 students under the surveillance of our trained security staff. Students will only be lodged on campus when they meet all the conditions laid down by the administrators.

Block D: Computer Laboratories and Economics Classes

All the computer rooms are equipped with the latest Dell computers, offering high-speed Internet access and network connection.

The DIHE classrooms are furnished with high quality fittings, making for an optimum learning environment. The classrooms are clean, well-ventilated and temperature-controlled, with good learning support facilities.
