The British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce (BSCC)

The British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce (BSCC) was founded in 1920 and is an independent not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting its 700-plus Members and promoting business relations between Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the UK. The Chamber provides an ideal network and platform for business people to facilitate dialogue and change.

The BSCC is comprised of Corporate, SME and individual Members representing the majority of business sectors.
Represented by Geographically defined Chapters, the BSCC is active in Basel, Berne, Central Switzerland, Geneva, Liechtenstein, London, Ticino and Zurich. We have Special Interest Groups covering Public Affairs and Legal and Tax. These chapters, representatives and groups hold regular events featuring keynote speakers, workshops and study trips.
The BSCC produces various publications which are circulated free to Members, including a monthly eNewsletter and regular event updates. We also provide a business support service for commercial enquiries, as well as a trade opportunities billboard and Member-to-Member discount scheme. The numerous activities the BSCC delivers allows Members excellent targeted marketing opportunities.
An elected President and a Managing Director head up the organization. Both the Swiss Ambassador in London and the British Ambassador in Bern are Honorary Presidents. Our Council is comprised of volunteer representatives from over 35 Member organizations. An Executive Board reviews the executive operations.

The BSCC is led by its Council (the governing body of the Chamber) and an Executive Board, appointed by the Council to review the executive operations of the Chamber on behalf of the Council.

Members of the Council

The council is the governing body of the Chamber.

The BSCC is proud to be a member of COBCOE (Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe) founded in 1973, COBCOE is an independent non-profit organisation representing 34 British chambers of commerce in 31 countries across Europe. Acting as an umbrella organisation, we work with our member chambers to advance international trade and business with the United Kingdom. As such, we give a voice to about 8,500 businesses, mainly located outside of the UK, from all sectors of trade and industry involved in business with the UK.
